Image enhancement software provider ContextVision has begun shipping its GOPView US for digital signal processor (DSP) platforms. The application will enable ultrasound technology to be used with a PC or DSP for real-time image enhancement, speckle reduction, and improved fine structural and edge imaging.
Based on a customized version of ContextVision's GOP algorithm, GOPView US for DSP can process both prescan and scan-converted data, and can be used with MRI, x-ray, and CT image data for various applications, such as cardiology, abdominal, small parts, and obstetrics/gynecology. GOPView US is compatible with all ultrasound imaging modes, including color/Doppler and 3D/4D imaging according to the Stockholm, Sweden-based company.
