Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD has released TotalLook version 8.0 for its film digitizer product.
The Nashua, NH, company's upgrade offers DICOM query and search capabilities that enhance integration with PACS and HIS/RIS. The new version is designed to eliminate redundant patient data entry, minimize errors, and improve workflow.
Additionally, TotalLook 8.0's image compression option uses Intelligent Image Sampling and anti-aliasing algorithms to reduce file sizes by 75%, while providing improved image quality, iCAD said.
