Advanced visualization firm Vital Images is debuting the next iteration of its VitalCardia application at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) conference in New Orleans this week.
The Minnetonka, MN-based company said that enhancements to the software include a new electrophysiology planning tool, a new angiographic orientation called CathView, and protocols that automate workflow, including automatic segmenting, viewing, labeling, probing, and quantification of cardiovascular image data.
The product also includes several applications for the visualization and analysis of cardiovascular images, including coronary vessel analysis, cardiac functional analysis, calcium scoring, peripheral vessel analysis, and SUREPlaque, the firm's coronary plaque characterization software.
