Growth in license fees powered advanced visualization firm Vital Images to record revenues in the first quarter (end-March 31).
The Minneapolis-based company produced revenues of $20.8 million, up 32% from $15.8 million in the first quarter of 2006. Net income increased to $2.4 million, compared with $1.4 million in the same quarter a year ago.
License fees rose to $13.5 million in the first quarter, a gain of 22% from $11 million in the same quarter of 2006.
