Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee has released a new version of its Cedara ProPlanner software for joint arthroscopy, trauma, and deformity correction.
New features on Cedara ProPlanner 3.1 include semiautomatic calibration, user-defined measurements, and image stitching to decrease the time and cost of planning for surgeons. The new release also can be integrated into existing applications, such as PACS and electronic medical records.
Merge is launching the new version at this week's American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) meeting in Las Vegas.
