TeraRecon shifts executive positions

The newly elected board of directors at advanced visualization firm TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, has appointed founder and CEO Dr. Motoaki Saito to the posts of chairman and chief technology officer.

In addition, the board named Robert Taylor, Ph.D., current president and chief operating officer, to the positions of president and CEO.

Saito has served as CEO since the company was founded 12 years ago, and Taylor has been president for the past 14 months.
