Medical software developer Blackford Analysis has unveiled a standalone image preprocessing server for third-party informatics vendors.
Workflow Server is designed to enable informatics vendors to incorporate Blackford's automatic image registration and comparison technology into their PACS, advanced visualization, and universal image viewers without requiring back-end engineering, according to Blackford.
Imaging studies can be automatically preprocessed after acquisition using Workflow Server, the company said. To facilitate load balancing, Workflow Server can be deployed as a physical server, a virtual server, or a service, according to Blackford.
