Advanced visualization firm Vital Images is unveiling version 7 of its Vitrea software at this week's Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) annual meeting in Orlando, FL.
The latest Vitrea release features enhancements to its diagnostic and workflow capabilities, according to the vendor. Several new applications have been added to the platform. In addition, the firm said it has streamlined the user interface and integration of new applications to provide a consistent user experience across imaging modalities.
In other Vital developments at SCCT 2016, the company is displaying a Stratasys uPrint SE Plus 3D printer in its booth. Vitrea's software can convert patient images into stereolithographic (STL) files for use with 3D printers, according to the vendor.
