Computer-aided detection (CAD) software developer Medipattern has installed the latest version of B-CAD at the Lynn Sage Breast Center of Northwestern University Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
B-CAD 1.2 for breast ultrasound imaging associates multiple views of the same breast lesion and tracks multiple lesions for the same patient in one record, according to the Toronto-based firm. The CAD software also electronically analyzes breast masses using the American College of Radiology (ACR) BI-RADS categorization.
