Riverain names Bares to VP post

Computer-aided detection (CAD) developer Riverain Medical of Miamisburg, OH, has appointed Rich Bares as executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Bares most recently served as executive vice president for Acuitec of Birmingham, AL, an early-stage company specializing in commercializing preoperative software.

He also previously held management positions at Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC; GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.; Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA; and ISG Technology in Egham, U.K.
