Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm Medipattern has received a U.S. patent that defines a method and system for processing medical images obtained from multiple modalities.
The patent extends Medipattern's Cadenza platform technology used to analyze and characterize medical images. The new patent also covers the combined use of morphological and kinetic features to compute a consolidated assessment of a possible lesion detected in medical imaging, according to Medipattern.
