FDA clears Aidoc's AI for cervical spine fractures

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared for market an algorithm from Israeli artificial intelligence (AI) software developer Aidoc for triage of cervical spine fractures.

The clearance is the company's third in nine months, Aidoc said.

The cervical spine fracture AI software prioritizes suspected C-spine fracture cases in a radiologist's worklist, ensuring that these studies are diagnosed quickly, according to the firm.
