MaxQ AI taps new CTO

Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer MaxQ AI has appointed Tom Neufelder as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

Neufelder comes to the company with more than 30 years of experience leading global product development for several medical imaging companies, according to MaxQ AI. Most recently, he served as senior vice president, innovation leader of Philips Healthcare's diagnostic imaging business unit. He also had a stint at Philips as vice president of research and development for CT and advanced molecular imaging.

Prior to Neufelder's tenure at Philips, he also held various senior posts at GE Healthcare, including vice president of research and development at the vendor's outpatient electronic medical record department and director of engineering for GE's invasive cardiology unit, MaxQ AI said.
