CodaMetrix inks distribution deal with GE HealthCare

Boston-based AI software start-up CodaMetrix has inked a deal to distribute its AI-enabled automated coding tool among GE HealthCare customers.

CMX Automate is the company’s AI-powered cloud-based platform for multi-specialty medical coding. The software combines machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing to translate clinical notes automatically and autonomously into billing and diagnostic codes to ensure claims consistently represent the unique and complete episode of care, while reducing the human coding workload, according to the vendor.

CodaMetrix's software will be delivered through GE HealthCare's digital platform, which standardizes integration architecture and offers a secure, vendor-neutral environment that aggregates siloed healthcare data and enables core application services, the company added.
