SimBioSys, Mayo Clinic to partner on breast cancer decision support

SimBioSys and Mayo Clinic have inked a partnership to develop early-stage breast cancer decision treatment support based on SimBioSys' TumorSight dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI)-based AI platform.

The platform uses DCE-MRI data to build patient-specific 3D digital models of tumors and was cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on January 4.

Mayo Clinic physicians Judy Boughey, MD, and Matthew Goetz, MD, will be part of the SimBioSys clinical advisory team, SimBioSys said.
