Rad AI has inked an agreement to use Google Cloud's platform and AI tools to develop algorithms designed to improve radiology reporting.
Specifically, the agreement involves Rad AI using Google’s MedLM, a family of foundation models tailored for healthcare industry use cases, including Gemini-based models, Rad AI said. In addition, Google Cloud will become Rad AI's preferred cloud provider.
The collaboration will focus on algorithms designed to save radiologists time, reduce burnout, and ultimately improve the quality of patient care, Rad AI said.
