Voicebrook integrates ScanSoft software

Speech recognition technology developer Voicebrook of Lake Success, NY, has selected ScanSoft's Dragon NaturallySpeaking 8 software development toolkit (SDK) to integrate speech recognition capability into its VoiceOver Enterprise medical transcription software.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking converts speech to text at up to 160 words per minute, and allows software applications to respond to verbal commands, according to Peabody, MA-based ScanSoft.
