Healthcare information privacy and security firm HIPAAT is launching ATNA Auditlog Toolkit at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Dallas.
The toolkit works with OEM equipment to generate standard audit messages from proprietary logs, allowing IT and imaging administrators to gain centralized security auditing capabilities, according to the Mississauga, Ontario-based firm.
Following Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) security guidelines, the toolkit produces extensible markup language (XML) audit content from proprietary vendor logs. The XML messages can then be sent to a central audit repository, and searched and reported upon by administrators, HIPAAT said.
