DALLAS - Philips Medical Systems has introduced Xtenity Enterprise at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting.
Targeted at mid-sized hospitals, Xtenity Enterprise is built around a core data repository, and features both clinical and administrative functions, according to the Andover, MA-based vendor. The system includes computerized physician order entry (CPOE), decision support tools, registration, scheduling, admission/discharge/transfer (ADT), and billing, and a patient portal.
Xtenity Enterprise was developed by Philips in collaboration with IT partner Epic Systems of Madison, WI, and is the first Epic-powered IT offering targeting the mid-size hospital segment. Metro Health of Grand Rapids, MI, will be the first customer to implement Xtenity Enterprise, Philips said.
