DALLAS - Internet-based medical coding technology and service provider CodeRyte enlarged its product suite at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference.
Along with its computer-assisted offerings in radiology, the firm has bolstered its portfolio with products for cardiology, orthopedics, emergency medicine, and pathology. The company's natural-language processing technology identifies clinically relevant language and results for clinical and financial processes.
CodeRyte CEO Andy Kapit said that the firm's technology incorporates complex coding rules associated with the evaluation and management components of patient care and physician services. This allows the company's context-sensitive language-processing capabilities to identify, highlight, and assign codes for consults, evaluations, and new patients.
