Display provider Image Systems has released the latest iteration of its Calibration Feedback System (CFS), according to the Minnetonka, MN-based firm.
The new software release offers graphing capabilities, support for TG18 images and procedures (developed by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine), additional options for automatically logging compliance activities, extended options for lookup table creation and use, comprehensive scheduling capabilities, and security measures aiding in compliance with the Healthcare Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the company said.
The application can be run in local mode, across a network, or across multiple sites to view, calibrate, monitor, and manage deployed display hardware and software throughout a healthcare institution. Measurement to the DICOM Part 14 standards can be accomplished on a hands-free basis through the use of integrated front retractable sensors on the monitors, Image Systems said.
