Radiation oncology information systems developer Impac Medical Systems and Synovate Healthcare have partnered to conduct a global cancer therapy audit.
Under terms of the multiyear agreement, Synovate will license aggregated and de-identified data of more than 2.3 million cases that are on Impac's National Oncology Database. Synovate will use the data to provide de-identified information to pharmaceutical and biotech companies to further oncology research, according to Mountain View, CA-based Impac, which is a division of Stockholm-based radiation therapy firm Elekta.
