Radiation oncology information systems developer Impac Medical Systems and the Coalition of Cancer Cooperative Groups have signed an agreement to incorporate the coalition's clinical trial database into Impac's electronic medical record (EMR) for oncology.
The agreement allows Mountain View, CA-based Impac, a division of Stockholm-based radiation therapy firm Elekta, to incorporate the coalition's TrialCheck cancer clinical trial database directly into Mosaiq, Impac's image-enabled oncology EMR.
The Mosaiq trial management application will provide clinicians with access and screening capabilities for trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, the Cancer Cooperative Groups, and other publicly and privately funded sources, while supporting screening for specific trials open to accrual at their home treatment facilities, according to Impac.
