Healthcare services and information technology developer WebMD, parent company of WebMD Practice Services, has signed a two-year extension to its electronic data interchange (EDI) agreement with healthcare informatics developer IDX Systems of Burlington, VT.
Under terms of the deal, WebMD will continue to be the exclusive provider of EDI connectivity for sponsored commercial payors for IDX's eCommerce Services gateway customers, according to the Elmwood, NJ-based firm.
