Teleradiology provider MedLink VPN will launch MedLink EHR on June 10, after completing phase II development and beta testing at medical practices in New York and Los Angeles, according to its parent corporation, Western Media Group of Islandia, NY.
MedLink EHR will provide hospital admittance, discharge, and transfer data to hospitals and doctors offices. Its optical memory laser card can store personal health information such as x-rays, vaccinations, lab results, allergies, medication histories, and referral letters, according to the firm. Medical records can be uploaded instantly through HL7 integration from remote locations using the MedLink EHR and MedLink VPN.
