Any area of research involving medical imaging informatics is eligible for support. Other possible topics include development of new hardware, software, or processes to support medical practice, education, or research, according to the Great Falls, VA-based society.
The deadline for applications for 2006 grants is August 1. Additional information about the grant process and an application form are available at SCAR's Web site.
