Medical informatics firm CompuMed of Los Angeles has recruited two medical imaging industry veterans to its management team, and has created the position of chief technology officer.
Henky Wibowo has joined the firm as its vice president of engineering. Wibowo was most recently co-founder and chief technology officer of Tucson, AZ-based healthcare informatics firm iAtrogenix. Xiaoli Bi, who formerly served as CompuMed's vice president of technology, has been promoted to the newly created position of chief technology officer.
In addition to the engineering moves, the firm has hired Scott Evers as its vice president of sales. Evers was formerly vice president of North American sales for CR developer Orex Computed Radiography, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rochester, NY-based Eastman Kodak Health Group.
