Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys reported fiscal 2005 second-quarter revenues of $96 million, an increase of 30% compared with revenues of $74 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2004.
For the period (end-June 30) the Boca Raton, FL-based firm posted a quarterly loss of $2.5 million, sharply cutting the $10 million loss reported in the corresponding 2004 period.
In other news, Eclipsys said that Children's Hospital and Health System in Milwaukee is expanding its use of the company's Sunrise Clinical Manager product. The facility is deploying Sunrise ED Manager, Pharmacy Benefits Manager, Sunrise Secure Health Messaging, and its clinical documentation product, Knowledge-Based Charting.
