Healthcare informatics firm IDX Systems has signed deals to upgrade two facilities to its Carecast clinical information system.
The Burlington, VT-based firm said that Oakwood Healthcare System of Dearborn, MI, and Owensboro Medical Health System (OMHS) of Owensboro, KY, will be upgrading to the product. In addition, OMHS has signed an agreement for IDX's Groupcast application to manage professional billing and administrative capabilities in the organization's ambulatory clinics.
