Philips Speech Processing of Vienna, Austria, said it has released an enhancement to its SpeechMagic voice recognition platform enabling its use in Citrix-based computing environments.
Citrix enables digital recordings to be uploaded by adding bidirectional audio capabilities, and Philips has developed a real-time speech recognition channel. The channel improves the usability of dictation hardware, and allows for the deployment of the full range of speech recognition (SR) features within a Citrix environment, according to Philips.
