Contrast agent and virtual colonoscopy developer E-Z-EM has introduced its IRiSCT injector reporting information system.
A software package that automates the data collection process for all critical functions of E-Z-EM's EmpowerCT and EmpowerCTA injectors, IRiSCT also links all Empower injectors in a department across the hospital's existing data network (including those in remote locations), according to the Lake Success, NY-based firm. Radiology administrators can access the integrated data management system from their offices, E-Z-EM said.
The software automatically captures operational data from several important functions, including contrast flow rate and volume, peak pressure and pressure history, injection protocol details, and contrast consumption. When used to network all injector systems in a facility, IRiSCT helps consolidate data from the entire radiology department, facilitating quantitative analysis and budgeting, E-Z-EM said.
