GE Healthcare will introduce a new physician mobile computing platform for personal digital assistants (PDAs) and mobile phones at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) conference in Nashville, TN, next week.
The Centricity Physician Office Mobile (powered by PatientKeeper), extends the functionality of its Centricity Physician Office, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based firm.
The application allows physicians to access and manage their patient lists and schedules and to capture charges quickly and accurately from any location, GE said. Charges captured on the device are automatically submitted through Centricity Physician Office, either via wireless infrared connectivity or a hard-wire cradle device, the vendor said.
