Morrisville, NC-based Empiric Systems will team with software developer Radster and its Radster Client technology.
The Radster Client software package utilizes secure instant messaging, peer-to-peer file sharing, and DICOM viewing technologies to facilitate the exchange of electronic medical information, digital images, and consultations between hospitals and other healthcare providers, according to Empiric.
The first version of the Radster Client is planned for release in early 2006.
