GE Healthcare has finalized its acquisition of healthcare IT firm IDX Systems.
With the close of the deal, GE Healthcare Information Technologies president and CEO Vishal Wanchoo will lead the combined business, which will have its global headquarters in Barrington, IL.
The unit will also have major offices in Burlington, VT; Boston; Seattle; and London. It will also have satellite offices both within and outside the U.S., according to GE of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.
