Source Medical Solutions of Birmingham, AL, will highlight new features and functions in SourceRad 3.0, an integrated, Web-based RIS/PACS product developed in partnership with Los Altos, CA-based ScImage.
The integrated product is designed to provide imaging centers with an end-to-end managed workflow solution with low up-front costs, the companies said. The system will run on Microsoft Windows-based PCs with Internet access, requiring little or no onsite IT personnel, according to the firms.
The RIS portion of the integrated application has been enhanced with drag-and-drop support for multiple workflows, document scanning at the patient and visit level with annotation support, integrated digital dictation, and advanced reporting enhancements with dashboard and ad-hoc features. In addition, the billing module has a collector's desktop and CPT-level billing capabilities, Source Medical said.
