The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reported that it has awarded a $13.7 million contract to consulting firm BearingPoint to provide a range of management services to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT).
Under the terms of the agreement, BearingPoint of McLean, VA, will provide program management, communications infrastructure, healthcare IT subject-matter expertise, and large-scale meeting management to ONCHIT.
The contract is valued at $3.4 million in its base year and includes three one-year options, the company said.
