Healthcare information technology developer Allscripts reported that that Indiana Heart Associates of Indianapolis will deploy the firm's TouchWorks electronic health record (EHR) technology.
In other news, the Chicago-based Allscripts also said that it has entered into a strategic alliance with MedAxiom, an association of more than 220 cardiology groups that aggregates and reports on key clinical and financial data to benchmark and improve performance.
Under terms of that agreement, Allscripts will market its TouchWorks and HealthMatics EHR products to MedAxiom's 4,500 physician members.
