Dictaphone/Nuance Communications

Dictaphone, which was acquired earlier this year by Burlington, MA-based Nuance Communications, will highlight its PowerScribe Workstation at this year's RSNA conference.

Dictaphone's PowerScribe Workstation offers high-accuracy, real-time speech recognition and self-editing to meet the turnaround requirements of the radiology reporting environment, according to the Stratford, CT-based firm. The Web-based software requires a Dictaphone PowerMic for voice input and features voice-driven standard templates, and full integration to all leading PACS/RIS systems is available, the company said.

The PowerScribe workstation is currently available worldwide and has various pricing options, including per-user capital acquisition and pricing based on reporting amount, Dictaphone/Nuance said.
