Emergis gets Montreal EHR contract

Healthcare informatics developer Emergis said that its Oacis electronic healthcare record (EHR) system has been purchased for deployment across the Montreal region of Canada.

The application is already installed in the eight hospitals representing the McGill University Health Centre and Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal, according to the Longueuil, Quebec-based firm.

The installation of the full suite of Oacis Web-based products across the region will begin in the spring this year, Emergis said.
