The U.S. Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) has released proposed test scripts and data files for use by vendors as they prepare for CCHIT certification in 2007.
Although technical comment is welcomed on the test scripts and data files for interoperability testing by vendors, the CCHIT said it is accepting no further comment until February 1, following its pilot test. The closing date for accepting feedback on the proposed data test files is January 12.
The organization said the 2007 certification year for ambulatory electronic health record (EHR) applications will begin in May.
