Tom Skelton, CEO and director of healthcare IT firm Misys Healthcare Systems, has resigned, according to the Raleigh, NC-based firm.
Misys said Paul Lewis, senior vice president, sales and services, will act as the healthcare division's general manager until a replacement is found.
The firm's finance director, Howard Evans, also resigned but will remain in his position and as a director until the end of the company's fiscal year while a search is conducted for his replacement, according to Misys. Jasper McMahon has stepped down as corporate development director, and a search for a replacement is under way.
Eileen McPartland has been appointed to the new position of executive vice president of global sales and services, and will join Misys later this month. She will focus on building the company's services and solutions offerings across the firm's banking and healthcare businesses, the company said.
McPartland was most recently senior vice president, North America consulting, at database developer Oracle, a role which included responsibility for the application, technology, and Indian offshore consulting practices, according to Misys.
