(Booth 3929) Mount Laurel, NJ-based MedQuist will display new enhancements and upgrades to its SpeechQ for Radiology product at RSNA 2007.
Specifically, MedQuist will introduce SpeechQ for Radiology version 1.2. The upgrade includes several technology enhancements, such as a new view station for report sign-off, enhanced speech recognition, and support of newer Microsoft technology, such as .NET 2.0 and Office 2005.
Powered by SpeechMagic from Philips Speech Recognition Systems of Vienna, Austria, SpeechQ for Radiology is designed to provide enhanced speech recognition capabilities, continuous learning, punctuation assistance, and integration with a RIS/PACS to streamline radiologists' workflow. The goal is to allow radiologists to create clinical reports and authenticate findings while images are on display.
MedQuist targets hospital radiology departments, imaging centers, and radiology practices for the technology, which currently is available in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
