Karl Storz teams with InTouch Health

Medical video imaging firm Karl Storz Endoscopy-America of Culver City, CA, has entered into an agreement for InTouch Health of Santa Barbara, CA, to adapt its Remote Presence technology into a telementoring device that is compatible with the Karl Storz OR1 integrated operating room.

The combined technology, called VisitOR1, will be compatible with InTouch Health's existing Remote Presence robotic systems (RP-7) to provide connectivity to hospital emergency departments, critical care units, and operating rooms.
