Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, India, has gone live with Euromed Networks' MedSpeech, which features speech recognition software from Nuance Communications of Burlington, MA.
The hospital has dictated more than 3,000 radiology reports since implementing MedSpeech, and expects to prepare 10,000 reports with MedSpeech within the first month of use.
Euromed, through its international partner Dictation Devices and in cooperation with Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare's India subsidiary, customized MedSpeech for sending reports to Hinduja's hospital information system.
