Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare said its etrials eDiary 5.0 platform will be used in a new clinical trial.
The etrials eDiary 5.0 platform will be used to conduct a global phase II urology clinical trial involving 750 patients; the company won the project not only because of its eDiary technology, but also because of its experience in global electronic patient reported outcomes trials, it said.
The trial, under way in 22 countries, uses Merge's new eDiary Inventory Module to track shipping and supply of study devices in real-time as well, according to Merge of Milwaukee.
