McKesson wins NJ contract

Healthcare IT firm McKesson of Atlanta has inked an agreement for its healthcare information technology packages with a New Jersey medical center.

Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, NJ, will replace its existing clinical and financial systems with McKesson's Horizon Clinicals package, including computerized physician order entry, point-of-care barcode medication administration, and interdisciplinary clinical documentation for nurses and physicians.

Englewood also plans to install McKesson's Horizon Enterprise Revenue Management software, McKesson said.
