Healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys of Atlanta posted a 5% revenue increase in its fourth quarter.
For the period (end-December 31), Eclipsys had revenues of $133.7 million, up from $126.8 million in the same quarter last year. Net income for the most recent quarter was $3.8 million, compared with net income of $3.3 million for the same quarter of 2008.
For the year, Eclipsys had revenues of $519.2 million, compared with $515.8 million in 2008. The company had net income of $2.7 million, down from the $99.5 million (including an $88.5 million income tax benefit) posted in 2008.
