The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and IT firm Custom Computer Specialists (CCS) have signed an exclusive, long-term licensing agreement to promote and develop the HI-IQ interventional radiology information management system.
SIR and CCS have worked together since 1993. As part of the new deal, CCS of Hauppauge, NY, has acquired the Fairfax, VA-based society's ConexSys subsidiary, which had been formed to manage the HI-IQ business. ConexSys, which will keep its name, has become a wholly owned subsidiary of CCS.
Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
