Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare of Milwaukee has entered into a technology agreement with Cato Research of Durham, NC.
Cato has selected Merge to provide it with its etrials EDC package through Merge's technology transfer program. The new agreement expands Merge's partnership with Cato to provide additional technology for clinical trials management, in addition to extending the relationship for an additional five years, according to the firm. Merge's team of clinical trial experts will also provide training and support to Cato.
etrials EDC allows users to build and implement custom clinical trial studies. Based on a SaaS platform, etrials EDC can be licensed on a subscription or study basis. In addition, Merge's etrials IVR and ePRO can be used with the EDC system to provide comprehensive clinical tools, Merge said.
