The board of Indiana Health Information Technology is soliciting project ideas for a $10.3 million federal grant it received to further expand the use of health information exchanges under the State Health Information Exchange Cooperative Agreement Program.
The project offers an opportunity for imaging informatics professionals working in Indiana to submit proposals to implement computerized physician order-entry (CPOE) systems or other projects of interest. The board is looking for proposals that would result in improved outcomes, defined as the timely use of health information exchange to improve clinical decisions by providers, payors, and patients.
More information is available by clicking here. The submission deadline is July 9, 2010.
